Job Description:
DigiCow Africa Ltd. is seeking a meticulous and analytical Quality Assurance Analyst to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of data within our digital platform. This position requires a keen eye for detail, strong analytical skills, and a background in forensics and criminology.
This is a quick to fill, entry level position that reports to the Operations Manager.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze data within our digital platform to identify inaccuracies or inconsistencies.
- Implement rigorous quality control measures to flag and rectify inaccurate data entries.
- Collaborate closely with the team to provide feedback and guidance on data accuracy standards.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation outlining data quality procedures and best practices.
- Conduct regular audits and quality assessments to uphold data integrity standards.
- Investigate discrepancies or anomalies in data entries, utilizing forensic techniques and methodologies.
- Liaise with stakeholders across departments to address data quality issues and implement corrective actions.
- Ensure that payments are processed only for accurate and verified data entries.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Forensics, Criminology or a related field.
- Proven experience in data analysis, quality assurance, or a similar role with 1 – 2 years of experience.
- Strong understanding of data management principles and practices.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a meticulous attention to detail.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools and software e.g., Excel.
- Ability to communicate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- Experience in forensic data analysis or investigative techniques is highly desirable.
- Proactive mindset with a commitment to continuous improvement and quality excellence.
