The Operations Manager will be reporting directly to the Managing Director.

  • Managing a team of eleven (11) middle level managers.
  • Ensure training targets are achieved.
  • Ensure adoption is achieved.
  • Ensure delivery of trainings within a set timeline.



The Regional Coordinator will be responsible for planning, implementing, coordinating and evaluating DigiCow Africa Ltd activities in different Counties. He/ she will act as the main point of contact for all stakeholders working with the company in the region. Under the supervision of the Operations Manager, the Training Coordinator will support DigiCow Africa Ltd in delivery of activities within the different projects, while following the organization’s standards, processes and policies.


  1. Managing partners and should be able to work well with the partners.
  2. Training partners on the system and how to access reports.
  3. Training users (inseminators and trainers) on how to use the Ndume and DigiCow app to train farmers and keep breeding records.
  4. Ensuring the success of Ndume App within the region.
  5. Managing the Counties in relation to the World Bank DAT project. (Represent the company in meetings, ensuring we hit the set targets and monthly/quarterly/ annual reports)
  6. Identify opportunities within the Counties that the company can tap into.
  7. Ensure our clients are satisfied and happy.
  8. Providing support to the trainers, inseminators and county officials in relation to the systems.
  9. Coordinating clients’ linkages with the trainers and or farmers in case a client wants to join a training.
  10. Ensuring that we achieve the targets set by our clients within the region while working hand in hand with the assistant regional coordinators.
  11. Effectively liaise with the rest of the team to ensure a smooth running of operations.
  12. Maintain links with all the project partners and stakeholders.
  13. Assist in recruitment of the assistant regional coordinators, orient and induct as scheduled.
  14. Ensuring the companies processes in regards to the group training are adhered to.


  • BSC in Animal Production, Agriculture Extension and Education, General Agriculture or any other agricultural related course.
  • 2-3 years working with small holder farmers.
  • Tech savvy.
  • Great partnership skills.
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
  • Basic computer skills and familiarity with google drive and Ms Excel

Marketing and selling of our digital platforms to key stakeholders in the agricultural sector e.g (input suppliers, NGOs, Government Projects e.t.c).


  • Conversion of sales against set targets
  • Work with regional coordinators to understand what clients are doing on the ground
  • Ensure the clients’ agents are aligned on the ground to what we are doing
  • Engages in superior customer service by making information readily available
  • Demonstrates products and services as deemed necessary by clients and management
  • Schedules appointments and meetings as necessary
  • Answers questions from clients
  • Researches client base to find new types of customers and sells to them accordingly
  • Creates a plan for gaining customers and then retaining them while working closely with the customer experience personnel.
  • Analyzes and creates a plan for engaging the target market amongst competition.
  • Trains other sales people when need be.

Reports to the Operations Manager.


Social Media Executives

The social media executives  will be responsible for engagement of trainers in relevant whatsapp groups, collect daily feedback on farmer experiences and adoptions. This is a remote job with working hours from 4pm to 11pm.

The social media executives will be reporting directly to the operations manager.

The Customer Experience Personnel will be responsible for collecting feedback from our customers on the quality of service delivered.

Key Responsibilities.

  1. Survey call backs to farmers; at least 200 farmers per survey to establish adoption and impact and to also establish why farmers are not adopting.
  2. Survey reports.
  3. Working closely with Sprout by Mercy Corps Agrifin to ensure we reach our monthly target of farmer sensitization.
  4. Working closely with the team to ensure farmers interested in adopting are fully assisted.
  5. Work closely with the team to ensure digital marketing is done
  6. Any other duty as may be directed by your line manager.
