Job Description: Channel Admin – Farmpass

Location: Kenya

Overview: DigiCow Africa Ltd, in partnership with Mastercard, has launched Farmpass, a digital platform aimed at providing real-time financial support to farmers in Kenya. We are seeking a Channel Admin to oversee the onboarding, training, and support of various stakeholders within the Farmpass ecosystem. The Channel Admin will play a crucial role in ensuring the platform’s success by fostering adoption, facilitating transactions, and achieving operational targets.

Responsibilities:

  • Onboard users onto the Farmpass platform, including Farmer Producer Organizations (FPOs), buyers, financiers, agents, and farmers.
  • Conduct comprehensive training sessions for users to ensure they can effectively utilize the platform’s features.
  • Develop and implement workplans and budgets aligned with project goals and targets.
  • Collaborate closely with internal teams, stakeholders, and partners to streamline operations and resolve issues promptly.
  • Monitor and ensure transactional activities are robust and meet performance metrics.
  • Provide ongoing support to users, addressing inquiries and troubleshooting technical issues as they arise.
  • Generate regular reports on platform usage, user feedback, and transactional outcomes.
  • Ensure 100% delivery of the business model.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, or a related field.
  • Proven experience of 2-4years in project management within the agricultural or fintech sectors preferred.
  • Strong understanding of digital platforms and familiarity with financial services in agriculture.
  • Hands-on and results-oriented approach with a track record of achieving targets and driving operational success.
  • Self-driven individual capable of working independently and collaboratively within a dynamic team environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with diverse stakeholders.
  • Ability to develop strategic plans, budgets, and workplans to achieve organizational objectives.
  • Experience in training and capacity building, particularly in rural or agricultural contexts, is desirable.
  • Fluency in English and Kiswahili
  • Excellent excel skills

Renumeration: Monthly Gross of Kes. 50,000
